Before I begin this review in any sort of proper context, let me just say how I am deeply and personally wounded by the fact that this title is not Educator’s Creed. I thought of that joke when I was first told that this was a thing to be reviewed and I am, in hindsight,
It’s hard to review major DLC for the Assassin’s Creed games. I noted this back when I was reviewing the first piece of major post-launch DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, since on a simple level you have the fundamental problem of taking a very big game and giving you more stuff to do in it.

The problem of expanding a game in the Assassin’s Creed series, at this point, is that usually the base game is already so fully stuffed with stuff that it’s difficult to really see obvious places to go. Of the criticisms you could offer for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, a lack of content was not one of
If there’s anything to be said about game preservation and the prevalence of digital media, Scott Pilgrim generally tends to be at the top of most people’s minds. Honestly, who could blame them? It dropped in conjunction with the release of the 2010 film, only to be delisted from the PlayStation Store and XBox Live
Earlier this week, a new video appeared on the Star Wars YouTube channel that showcased previously released, and future game titles, that will be collaborations between the revived Lucasfilm Games brand and other developers. For fans of Lucasfilm’s various properties, this was only the beginning of an exciting week of announcements.
The Assassin’s Creed series is, in some ways, kind of odd to review. You don’t need me to tell you that. If EA had a safe showing, then Ubisoft is the kid in the shallow section with arm floaties and a life preserver. Full of CGI trailers and minimal live gameplay showcases, Ubisoft didn’t take many chances in their E3 2013 press event.
