Genshin Impact Just Released an Official Trailer for the New Region Fontaine
Hoyoverse has just released a new trailer for Genshin Impact’s new region, Fontaine, and a handful of the region’s new characters.
Based on this trailer, a previous teaser, and official livestreams, the new region will be set in an industrial/steampunk version of France.
Although we do not have official news about the character’s kits yet, we do know their names:

Egeria and Charlotte (who we’ve only seen so far as event-exclusive NPCs) are the names of two other characters that were also announced in the YouTube video.
Fans were quick to point out that a lot of notable voice actors from popular anime shows were added for the Japanese VA cast. Other notable elements revealed in the trailer included the implication that Wriothesley might be a blind character, as well as guns potentially being part of Clorinde’s kit.
Per Genshin Impact’s previous expansion regions of Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru, fans can look forward to a lot of characters, stories, and an open world that will be deeply influenced by the steampunk French setting.
