Final Fantasy XIV Housing Fix Scheduled for May 16
In what is now the fifth update on the current housing lottery issues plaguing Final Fantasy XIV, Naoki Yoshida outlined the next steps that the company plans to take in order to fix the problems.
The team is currently in restoring all the lottery data which is taking longer than expected, therefore leading to more delays. Because of this, the maintenance for the implementation of all these fixes is currently scheduled for May 16th and is expected to last up to ten hours. It is not clear yet if this maintenance will only affect the housing areas, similar to the last housing maintenance, or lead to all servers being offline for an extended period of time.
This also means that all housing sales and relocations are still on hold at least until May 16th, if not longer. This does of course, not include apartments, which are still available for purchase throughout all housing areas.
