New Entry in 'TimeSplitters' Series Enters Development
TimeSplitters has been a long-beloved franchise, with numerous fans clamoring for a new entry. One can’t blame them, considering the most recent entry, Future Perfect, was released in 2005.
It seems though that the wait may be finally approaching its end for fans. Publisher Deep Silver has announced that they have formed a new studio intent on bringing the TimeSplitters franchise back in the modern era.
Members of the original development team for the series, Free Radical Design, have been confirmed to return for this soon-to-be in development entry to a cult classic franchise. Returning members include Free Radical founders Steve Ellis and David Doak.
The game is not quite yet in development. At the moment, the development team is building their new studio (under the original name) and plan to begin development in the coming months.
