Square Enix and Luminous Productions Debut Project Athia
Today, during the PlayStation’s Future of Gaming digital event, Square Enix and Luminous Productions announced their new IP, Project Athia.
According to Square Enix, the game, which was designed with the PlayStation 5 in mind, “will harness the full power of the console and demonstrates Luminous Productions’ philosophy to provide a gaming experience like never before, fusing together the latest technology with art.”
Project Athia will be “a world filled with beauty and dismay as they set upon a thrilling story-led, action-packed adventure which can be twisted, tempestuous and forbidding.”
In addition to the PlayStation 5, the game is also being developed for PC.

Update: It’s been revealed on Twitter that Gary Whitta (Rogue One, The Book of Eli) is involved with this project.
