Today, during the PlayStation’s Future of Gaming digital event, Capcom announced the next entry in its Resident Evil series: Resident Evil Village.
The game takes place a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and sees RE7 protagonist Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living their lives after the horrific events of the previous game when Chris Redfield shows up and disturbs their respite.
The game will once again assume a first-person perspective as Ethan explores the once peaceful snowy village and encounters new monsters.
Resident Evil Village is set to launch next year, 2021, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Steam.
