FFXIV Wiki Update: NPC Info Galore!
After adding images of armor, and then NPC maps, community member IcarusTwine was (again) looking for a new wiki project. This time he landed on NPC appearances!
After a few months of work, we are excited to show off the new NPC Appearance tab! This will display all the information you could ever want to know about an NPC’s appearance and is perfect for creating a doppelganger or for finding out “what are they wearing?!”
Clicking on the equipment will take you to its respective item page. If an item is dyed, the dye icon will appear in the bottom of the armor icon. Tail lengths, ear lengths, height, etc. are all represented by sliders- height even shows how tall the NPC is. If the NPC has different color eyes, the eye color icons will change accordingly. Skin and hair color (and highlights) along with face paint, tattoo or ear clasp colors are also displayed in the bottom right corner.
Browsing NPC pages can reveal some interesting outfits and will even show what some NPCs are wearing underneath their kimonos!
