Today is a day of announcements that are sure to leave many excited gamers a little bummed out. Square Enix has announced that both the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Marvel’s Avengers have been delayed.
In the case of Final Fantasy VII Remake, the delay isn’t too bad— about a month. The game is now set to release on April 10.
The case for Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers however is a bit more brutal. The original release date of May 15 has been pushed all the way back to September 4.
Square Enix says both games simply need more time so they can be polished up to be the best possible experiences and, while a shame, is understandable.
