This week at CES, Panasonic unveiled their new SC-HTB01 gaming speaker, which as the name suggests, was designed for gamers.
What makes this more interesting is that the speakers three gaming modes were co-developed by Square Enix, and specifically, the Final Fantasy XIV sound team. The speaker has special modes for “Role Playing Game”, “First-Person Shooter” and “Voice”.
The 2.1 channel, 3-way speaker with a built in subwoofer also features support for Dolby Atmos as well as a 4K/HDR pass through.
It’s set to release sometime this summer.
