On Today’s Show: You asked for it! We ignored you. You demanded! We finally gave in (not because there’s a lack of content!) Limit Breaking Music returns! We’re joined by special guest NPC and as of course, Juxta finds a way to mess something up.
Shyntyrr and Flattus invite their Twitter rivals The Crucible onto the show. With news, Fanfic’s, and more!
Muses are like potato chips — you can never have just one! The addiction to alternate characters, or alts, has spread across the entire FFXIV player base, affecting roleplayers worst of all. Creating a second (or third, or fourth…) original character, and starting the game again from scratch, can be a fun and fulfilling experience — except for the parts when it’s a long, dull grind, of course.
In this episode, we share our tips and those of other alt-aholics on how to share your love amongst all your children. We discuss the many tidbits and easter eggs you can find in full playthroughs that can’t be found in The Unending Journey; pros and cons of sticking to one server versus trying another server; the extra costs and Mog Station purchases you may need; optimizing gear and leveling with the least amount of repeated effort; and how to set goals for each of your characters’ progress. Alts are a wonderful way to deepen your FFXIV experience — and before you know it, you might become an alt-aholic too!
In the early hours of the morning, smack dab in the middle of a Maintenance, Square Enix gave the players an amazing gift, the full version of the Stormblood theme, Revolutions! Luna, Klauss, and Chille talk about their impressions, go through the lyrics, and pore over the details of the video.
Hey all of you out there in Eorzea. Welcome back to She Heals I Tank. This is episode 73 of the SHIT podcast. This week was a bit weird, the servers were down so we couldn’t broadcast live from Eorzea. Despite that, we had a lot of fun this episode and a lot of that was because of the great people that joined and chatted with us on Twtich. We’d love to have even more of you live with us so if you can check us out live at 6:30 on Tuesdays, twitch.tv/shehealsitank If you’d like to join us in game and photobomb the stream, we are on the Adamantoise server. Good news this week, I remembered to hit the record button so I didn’t need to grab audio from the Twitch stream.
As always we go over what we did in game. I helped some friends and fellow podcasters through T5-8, we’re still working on T9. I got my alt to level 52 and finished the original 2.0 story line through Praetorium. Avi got the itch to relearn Bard since we don’t really have one in the FC.
The big news this week is the theme for Stormblood that just hit. We do a play through sans any input so you can hear the song in all of it’s glory. Then we do a replay talking about the visuals that we saw during it. We also read the nominees for what we are calling the HeavensAwards. You can vote for the HeavensAwards by clicking HERE.
We also go over the last of the Producer Live Letter questions. To be honest they were not as good as the ones we went over last week, but we had fun with them despite that.
We hope you enjoyed the show. We’d love to have some emails to read so let us know what you thought by emailing us [email protected] or tweet us @shehealsitank Cheers!
We look at live letter 35 from FFXIV weeks after everyone else. plus we talk about the impending release dates of FFXIV and Secret World Legends.
