New E3 Trailer for Tales of Berseria
There’s all kinds of new and exciting games being premiered and announced left and right this week, and my personal favorite gaming series is no exception. Namco Bandai premiered a new trailer for the upcoming Tales of Berseria at this year’s E3, entitled “The Flame”.
The trailer mostly consists of in-game and animated cutscenes, but it gives us a look at the cast of the upcoming Tales entry, along with a basic rundown of the game’s story. Berseria is to act as a distant prequel to the most recent game in the series, Zestiria. The game will follow the pirate Velvet, who is cursed with some kind of monstrous power in her arm.
The trailer also provides a few quick hints to the link between Berseria and its predecessor, namely allusions to what sounds like a Shepherd-like character named Artorius…a name attached to a major portion of Zestiria.
Tales of Berseria is set for an early 2017 release in America for both the PS4 and PC. You can check out the trailer below!
