Looks like Square Enix is getting ready to throw another mobile title at us…this time a collaboration with the creators of another well-known mobile game.

Earlier this morning, Square Enix announced the localization of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius for both Android and iOS. A collaboration between them and gumi Inc., the publishers of the mobile game Brave FrontierBrave Exvius contains style elements from both series, but aims to lean more toward a traditional Final Fantasy experience.

While the battle system looks to be greatly influenced by Brave Frontier, this release will feature a full story and full navigation through fields and dungeons, along with Final Fantasy’s trademark lavish summon CG animations.

Brave Exvius will also, of course, feature the ability to play as characters from past Final Fantasy games, alongside the game’s original characters. The game is being launched as a free-to-play app with in-game purchases, so, presumably, earning these character’s through the game’s blind draw system will feature some purchasable currency to help you along.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is set for a Summer 2016 release in the west, although no specific date has been given. The announcement was made alongside a trailer, which you can view below!
