At the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event, Square Enix announced a new anime and a full length CG movie that take place in the world of FFXV.
Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV
Brotherhood is a five part anime that explores the friendships between Noctis and his three comrades as it sets the stage for the story that takes place in Final Fantasy XV. The first episode is available now (above) and the remaining episodes will be released between now and the game’s launch on September 30th.
Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV
Kingsglaive is a feature length CG movie featuring an all-star cast including Lena Heady as Luna, and Aaron Paul as the protagonist Nyx. Sean Bean also appears as the voice of King Regis, which has already sealed the fate of the King in the eyes of the internet. The game will be available to download and stream worldwide, and those that pick up the special editions of the game will also receive the movie on Blu-ray.
