The gaming industry is a rough place. There is a lot of competition, a lot of mayhem, and – while sad – occasionally the game companies we know and love go bust. But once in a while, they come back from the dead.
That is what very well may happen with recently shutdown Sierra Studios – a studio most well-known for Counter Strike, Half Life, Crash Bandicoot and many other games – which was acquired and shutdown by Activision Blizzard in 2008 when the gaming giant merged with Vivendi Games. According to a recently released teaser video and a brand new teaser website, it appears Activision Blizzard has decided to bring the game studio back.
Not much is known beyond that, except that whatever they are going to reveal, they are going to show at GamesCom 2014. Who knows? Maybe this confirms Half-Life 3.
