Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Coming To North America

Today, Square Enix has announced that Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call will be arriving in North America sometime later this year.

The new game will feature Versus Battle mode to let players compete head-to-head in addition to Quest Medley mode where songs make up quests of varying lengths.

Additionally, Curtain Call will feature characters not seen in the previous title such as Barret and Yuna from X-2. Characters from Final Fantasy spin-offs will also make an appearance such as Benjamin from Mystic Quest, Ramza from Tactics and Zack from Crisis Core. In total, the game will feature 221 songs and 60 playable characters!

Sadly, due to the state of the game at the time of the first Theatrythm‘s release, no music from Final Fantasy XIV was included. However, this time around, fans can be sure to expect to see Y’shtola, and music from A Realm Reborn.

No release date has been announced, but the game will be available for $39.99 on the Nintendo 3DS
