In preparation for the North American launch of the HD Remaster for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, Square Enix has announced a special exhibit in conjunction with the Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles showcasing the remarkable art of Spira and the world of Final Fantasy X. Paying homage to the journey of Yuna and Tidus, the gallery will offer an intimate setting for those who attend to truly appreciate all the creative work that made up these two games. The gallery will also feature a specially themed photo booth and playable units of both the original release and the HD Remaster to complete the launch experience. Artwork will also be available for sale, with proceeds going to charity relief efforts to aid the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
The exhibit’s opens to the public on March 15 at 2:00pm. The games’ Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Art Director Yusuke Naora will be there to commemorate the event and to sign the first 200 copies of FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster purchased. Both the Limited Edition and Collector’s Edition will be available for sale as well as the PlayStation® Vita version of the game although it will only be in limited quantities.
As an added bonus, the first 300 attendees who can make it out to sunny California will get the opportunity to receive unannounced door prizes. For more details and forthcoming announcements about the event, please visit the official Facebook® page.
