Tyranny of King Washington - New DLC for Assassin's Creed III
Ubisoft recently confirmed Assassin’s Creed III will be receiving it’s first major DLC content: Tyranny of King Washington. The original trailer was featured in the VGA award show this past weekend.
The DLC campaign will take place after the events of the revolution end. The fictional story demonstrates an alternate version of history, where Washington decides to unite the colonies under his iron fist, proclaiming himself to be King. The story will be broken up into three episodic content packs. In the trailer (featured in the full post of this article), Washington describes his greed for power, and establishing an empire fed by war and ultimately an empire with one crown and ruler. Connor returns as the one man who can stop King Washington’s tyranny. The trailer also shows Connor wearing a wolf skin pelt.
Ubisoft also confirmed today the details of two more bits of DLC for Assassin’s Creed III, which include: new maps and new playable characters for multiplayer.
All of the DLC will be available through the Assassin’s Creed III season pass, purchasable for 2400 Microsoft Points on Xbox live or or $29.99 on PSN and PC, and will be available soon. Ubisoft also stated that the season pass offers a discount of 25% if the content was purchased individually.
