Registration Server Recovery (Apr. 2)

We have experienced technical difficulties with the PlayOnline registration servers during the following period. These issues have been addressed. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately, a number of customers may have had their PlayOnline IDs canceled as a result of this issue. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we would like to ask that customers affected in this way resubscribe to PlayOnline, register a method of payment and reactivate their Content IDs in order to regain access to the game. Please see below for more detailed instructions.

[Resubscribing to PlayOnline]
Logging into PlayOnline with a cancelled PlayOnline ID will bring up the PlayOnline ID reactivation screen.
Follow the instructions presented at this screen.

[Registration of Payment Method]
From the Service & Support menu, select Membership Information, and then choose the option to change your payment method. Follow the instructions presented at this screen.
* No subscription fees will be charged for April 2011 regardless of whether or not an account’s payment method has been changed.

[Content ID Reactivation]
From the Service & Support menu, select Membership Information, and then choose the option to reactivate a Content ID. Follow the instructions presented at this screen.

From Apr. 2, 2011 1:00 to Apr. 3, 2011 3:00 (PDT)

[Issue Details]
Certain users may experience the following:
– Unable to log into FINAL FANTASY XI due to the system stating that you have no Content ID.
– Unable to access Membership.
