Are you bummed you haven’t been selected as a FINAL FANTASY XIV beta participant? Have you been reading about FINAL FANTASY XIV day and night, devouring each bit of information you can get your hands on? Are you longing to try your hand at being a Conjurer or Marauder? And do you want to test the beta version of FINAL FANTASY XIV on a PC (and provide valuable feedback to the development team)?
If you answered yes to some or all of these questions, here’s your chance to get into one of the summer’s most sought after beta tests. Our friends at Square Enix have graciously given us a bunch of beta keys, and we’re going to turn around and give them away to the Eorzeapedia community! Just in case we have more applications than codes, we’re going to need a simple little contest. But don’t worry. No purchase is necessary. No premium accounts are necessary. No nothing is necessary… well nothing except one buddy here at Eorzeapedia.
How to Win
We’ve created a new gift on the wiki – the Beta Ticket. The contest is simple – receive that gift between now and August 9, 2010 and you are entered to win. Want to increase you chances of winning? Well then get more tickets! Each Beta Ticket you receive is good for one entry into a random drawing for a code.
To give a gift to a friend – go to Special:GiveGift.
The entry period is between the time of this post and until 11:59 p.m. EDT, August 9, 2010.
- Rule #1: You must have a valid email address entered in your profile page. Otherwise we cannot contact you to tell you that you won.
- Rule #2: You must have applied to the FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Test. This is for the PC beta testing, and requires an NA Square Enix Account.
- Rule #3: You cannot send yourself the gift (i.e. no sockpuppets)! If we suspect you of cheating and creating sockpuppet accounts to send yourself a gift you will be disqualified.
- Rule #4: You can only receive one gift from each unique account (so no spamming your brother with 500 gift).
We will hold the random drawing on August 10, 2010, and distribute the codes on or about August 11, 2010.
Easy enough? Good luck!
