It’s been awhile since we got a batch of new levels for Little Big Planet 2 to throw our hard earned money at. With next week’s PlayStation Store update we’ll be able to drop $5.99 down on the new level kit which includes:
With the next system software update for the PlayStation 3 (3.70), Plus members will be receiving two new features.
First, users will have the ability to set their console up to automatically upload their game saves online. You can opt in for this by selecting a game on the XMB, hitting the triangle button and hitting “Saved Data Auto-Upload”. A nice addition that will make the task of individually uploading game saves a thing of the past!
Secondly is the addition of auto trophy sync. Maybe not the most groundbreaking thing, but it certainly won’t hurt anything by including it.
In addition to the above features coming for PlayStation Plus members, a “recommend” button will be added to the PlayStation Store that will allow you to recommend items to anyone on your friend list. There will also be a brand new category added to the XMB that will include all video services such as Netflix and Hulu PLUS.
After saying that the PlayStation Network and Qriocity services would be fully restored by the end of the month, it seems that Sony has missed that deadline, but only by a few days. Today the PlayStation Blog posted a press release stating that it will restore all PlayStation Network services in the Americas, Europe/PAL territories and Asia, excluding Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea by the end of this week. At this time Qriocity services will also be resumed. The full restoration will include with it:
All functions of the PlayStation Store
Redeeming of vouchers and codes
Full functionality of Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity for PS3, PSP, VAIO and other PCs
Full funcationality on Media Go
